Don't forget your handguns
Great experience! Loved it
First time doing anything like this. The website should note that the room for 2 people is open to public viewing. I didn't want to be on public display and I wish I would have been given the choice before booking. Thanks to the WONDERFUL Elana, the experience ended up private and great. She took very good care of us and thanks to her caring about our personal experience, I will return!!!
I would give this place a 5 star if they properly washed their equipment. The spraying of alcohol does not cut it, the stuff smells horrible. I was not able to enjoy myself because 1. It smelled so bad and 2. it was so hot. The air condition should be cool being that people have to get fully suited. I was sweating before even getting in the room. The idea of this place is great and some of my friends truly enjoyed it but I just could not get passed the fact I was wearing dirt smelly equipment.
Fury room was such a great experience. I took my boyfriend as a surprise when I saw that they had a Groupon. The Groupon is for one person but the owner allows you to buy two so that two people can be in the same room. You are also allowed to bring your own items (as long as they don’t start a fire) to break. I went to my local thrift store and spent no more than $20 on vases, china, and some electronics. I personally recommend ceramic over glass (more satisfying to break) and keyboards are also very satisfying to smash. It does get a little hot in the protection gear but hey, I’d rather be hot than hurt myself while I’m trying to unwind. They provide a suit, elbow/knee pads, a mask, and steel toe boots. You get to choose your weapon - bar, crowbar, hammer etc. They also let you play your own music via aux chord (he has an iPhone dongle if needed) or Bluetooth speaker. There is also a phone holder in the actual room so you can record yourself but it doesn’t work all that well so my videos come out crooked because it kept moving. At the end, he sent the video to my email but I have yet to be able to open it because of the type of file you need a certain app but it expires after 2 days. This was the weekend so it expired but they were nice enough to resend it.
