Lindale Mall

Feels old now. So many empty spaces. Several of the businesses that are open look raggedy. Mall staff - two I encountered were inattentive to a ridiculous Level. By mall staff o mean individuals who are employed/x Contracted by the nell itself.

Still there. Lindale Mall is out favorite local mall to go to. The mall itself unfortunately is no longer what it used to be, but there are a few stores in Lindale Mall that we visit quite often, and of course you enjoy the rest of the mall in the process. It is clean, it has some good stores, and is quite central to plenty of easily accessible other shop-areas.

This mall seems to be doing ok.. for now. They still have a decent amount of stores to choose from. The mall has some nice aesthetics inside and a working fountain inside which is nice to see. This mall even has a basement which is even rarer for a mall.

I hosted a Made in Iowa event in the old Younkers building. We had 153 vendors. The mall staff was amazing! The men's bathroom is a trek away. The space did get a bit warm . But over all we were pleasantly pleased with our experience working with mall staff.

I didn’t count the stores, but I feel like there’s more store fronts empty than occupied. And many of the occupied ones look like they are temporary. Nice large indoor space for walking, which I saw several people doing. While this mall is definitely dated and struggling, it’s nice to have a space where you can stretch your legs and get some food. There are no fewer than 8 Coke machines in the mall. Small, free play space. Be advised that there’s a Youth Escort Policy. Kids under 16 can’t wander the mall on their own.
