“South Tyler Sneak-Easy… If You Can Find It” If you enjoy wandering around like a lost woodland creature trying to find an unmarked door, South Tyler Speakeasy is the place for you. Once inside, it’s dimly lit—either for ambiance or to keep you from noticing that your bartender looks one shaken cocktail away from quitting. The drinks? Fancy, sure, but some of them taste like they were inspired by a dare. I ordered a cocktail that smelled like a cedar tree and tasted like someone mistook a pinecone for a garnish. My friend’s drink had so much lavender in it, I half expected a bumblebee to show up and demand rent. The crowd was a mix of people who know way too much about whiskey and others just trying to look cool sipping a $15 drink. It’s got a vibe, but whether that vibe is “classy hideaway” or “overpriced basement” depends on how much you’ve had to drink. Would I go back? Probably—if only to see what else they can make taste like a botanical experiment gone wrong.
Good pizza and cold beer. What else can u ask for? Grab a bite and a drink and enjoy some pool or live music. 👍🏻👍🏻
This place is a lot of fun. We don't go out a lot bur do stop in occasionally. We always meet new people when we do and the bartenders are always super nice. Hope to stay out late enough to enjoy the music soon.
The pizza was pretty good but $18 for a half pizza is a bit much. The service was non-existent. I had to ask someone to come give us menus and take food orders. This is a bar that serves some apps and pizza. I was looking more for a bar and grill, this is not that. It is a bar with a bit of a food side hustle. Too loud seating sucked, not headed back anytime soon. I was not there on a Wednesday, it was a Friday. Your reply shouldn't be a plug for your business specials.
Best experience ever!!!!! My wife and I, a mature couple who look for a nice and friendly environment… we’ve found our niche. Upon arrival we were welcome by the owner “Tony” whom you can see going from table to table making sure he welcomes everyone, he knew everyone and everyone knew him! Tony made sure you felt right at home. If you looking to be at a place that you feel welcome and surrounded by friends, this is your place. And the pizza is amazing too!
