Hapik South Gate

Knew Hapik from my girls' friend's bday party.After 2 months,my 5 yr old asked to climb again.She loved it and I got her membership.After a few times watching,I felt bord and got my own membership.Guess what,I found my new hobbie at 45 yr old.We feel so great after climbing workout every time.We both can see our skills are improving.We watched 2024 Olympic climbing.I even subscibed a few climbing channels. Hapik is new and modern.It is not crowded like other indoor play places.Staffs are friendly and maintain it very clean.Membership fee is affordable.We love Hapik❤️It is a community gem.

Great experience! Staff was courteous and friendly. Very clean. I love the concept of this indoor climbing gym. Fun for the kids and even adults, good workout. They give 90 minutes of fun. The staff gives clear instructions. Definitely Recommend it!

Came here to South Gate location CA three times. Positive: 1.-Nice climbing wall concept designed for kids but even adults climb and have fun with their kids while exercise 2.- Mixture of walls different designs and grades of difficulty 3.-Easy to handle safety system 4.-Cost effective option for 90 minutes of climbing (more than enough time). Negative: 1.-Holds on the walls need to be removed and clean they are DIRTY. 2.-Based on their website there should be a safety briefing before climbing which does not exist, they do not go over the do not’s disclose in their website as part of safety measures. They barely tell you how to clip and unclip, they can considerably reduce their probability to have an accident if they provide with safety but crucial tips like how to go down after reach the top(seat and walk down the wall) which by the way is stated in their website but mayority of people dont go over in detail before going. Another safety reminder which they dont tell kids: clear out orange zone at the bottom of wall when there is a climber in action. From the three times there were a couple of girls very helpful and friendly like one of them was wearing glasses i forgot her name i believed was Jocelyn not sure but two other girls Leah and Alexandra were supposed to help place harness on my kids were more interested in chatting with each other and did not even moved from the comfort of their seat asking children to approach to them to lift harness up… pure laziness… these two girls never walked around to chk if anybody needs help or struggle with clip process which a few times got jammed wasting my paid time of climbing because of no assistance around. Hopefully everything changed on my two visits after the first one. Hopefully this review help not only management as feedback but also other prospective visitors/customers to improve their experience because it is a nice place for kids after all.

This is a good place for beginners like myself! The whole experience was very fun, the staff was very friendly. Our instructor Ivan was very helpful starting from gearing up down to answering any questions my group had! Would definitely go back again.

We had an amazing experience at Hapik in South Gate! The facility is super clean, safe, and full of fun climbing challenges for all levels. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the incredible service we received from Ivan. He was friendly, patient, and so encouraging with the kids. Ivan took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and added so much positive energy to the whole experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping others and wants everyone to have a great time. Thank you, Ivan, for making our day extra special, we’ll definitely be back!
