First time here and we had a great time. We've been throwing once before at a spot up in Hollywood and it was great to have this venue in the south bay and a short drive away. First thing, the staff was excellent. They were super helpful and thorough in explaining the different games. Equally helpful in explaining how to throw and different techniques. We really appreciated that we had several minutes to get some practice throws in before our time started. Helped to get a few in the board before we officially started and to feel like we weren't wasting any game time which was great. There were two of us and one hour felt like the right amount of time. Just enough to start getting tired but not worn out and enough time to play all of the games more than once. If we had 4 or more people on one lane I don't think 1 hour would be enough time. I hope this place becomes popular and makes some money and we get to see the next generation of technology involved. The addition of the projector and games is awesome. Once you hit a target, you manually click the target you hit with a mouse that's linked up to the screen. This is quick and easy and keeps you engaged but it will be cool in the future when it is more like a top golf situation and it tracks where your axe hits. Or maybe some sound effects or something when you get a hit. In any case it's a ton of fun and definitely recommend booking a lane and spending some time chucking axes!

This place is AWESOME! I’ve been axe throwing once before at a place that was a full service bar/restaurant too so at first glance, I wasn’t expecting much from The Axe District. But I was SO wrong. To start, gotta give a huge shout out to Alex who was our axe master. She was awesome - hilarious and super helpful. Again, I’ve been once before elsewhere and I think they just let us do our thing. With Alex, she actually taught us how to properly throw and I felt like I walked out of there actually knowing how to succeed in axe throwing. Huge kudos for that! This spot is also unique in that they have a bunch of games you can play so it isn’t your typical target throw. They have Battle Ship, Duck Hunter, Tic Tac Toe, Zombie Hunter, and so much more. It was really innovative and it makes us want to come back ASAP. A few more huge points for this place were that their night time throwing has a party vibe and they give you glow sticks to match the ambiance. There’s also a taco stand right outside! Finally, we found out they’re affiliated with the escape room next door and you can get a discount at axe throwing if you go there first. We are super thrilled to have found a new fun hang in the South Bay.

Looks shady on the outside but you should still go in, it'll be fun, trust me. The host spent lots of time informing us how to have a good time and how to throw the axe, she's good! Fun games and worth the price

Had a spontaneous date night. The atmosphere was chill. I liked how everything was decorated. The games were cool. Our board thing was super chopped up. None of our axes were sticking up. I’ve had super hyped up instructors before- the instructor we got was mid + she dipped but we still made the most out of it.

From first throw to bullseye, this axe-throwing spot delivered! Alex was a phenomenal instructor as she made learning fun and exciting. BYOF and food truck options are a huge plus. We were in the first bay which is next to the tv so we got a chance to watch the Lions vs Commanders playoff game to go along with the extra entertainment of the night. Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. A solid 10/10!
