I visited on Thanksgiving Day and had a great experience! We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They also have Korean Makgeolli, which was a nice touch. The new karaoke room is fantastic—lots of space and up-to-date songs and equipment. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Wait time was not bad. We waited for 20 mins before getting seated however food came out pretty slow. We had pork belly dish, the only sauce they had was sriracha. We had fried chicken too, the chicken was crunchy but pretty salty. We ordered rice so that helped to balance out the saltiness. The restaurant was cute, dimmed but the temperature is cold. The thermostat was set at 57 degree, it is winter time and 49 outside. It is worse if you sit at the door. It is a fun place to go with friends for a drink but if you want a quiet dinner, with the K-pop nonstop, this isn’t the place to be.

Had a great time here singing karaoke while eating dinner. The room was huge & bc it was a birthday, the 1st hour was free. Service was awesome & food delicious! 👌 The floral decor hanging from the ceiling looked nice. There's a photobooth & backdrop area for photos which made the visit even more enjoyable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Poncha K Newark is a Korean flavor powerhouse! Their crispy fried chicken and delicious kimchi fried rice hit all the right notes—tangy, savory, and full of umami. The bulgogi stir-fry beef was tender and perfectly seasoned, making every bite irresistible. The standout? The cheese corn: beautifully roasted whole kernels coated in melty cheese with a hint of saltiness—think Korean-style elote. And if you’re looking for a fun night out, they’ve got a private karaoke room that’s all the rage with the younger crowd. Can’t wait to return and try more—this spot is a must-visit! #PaulEverHome @BayAreaWithPaul

Pocha K in Newark is a hidden gem for Korean Food and Fun! Instead of going to Gen's Korean BBQ, we decided to celebrate my son's graduation at Pocha K--and we're so glad we did! When we arrived, the restaurant was still closed, but they opened just a few minutes later. Since it was a weekday, we had the whole place to ourselves for nearly an hour. We took the chance to snap some photos in the adorable corner on the right side of the restaurant, decorated with flowers, light-up angel wings, and a fun photo booth backdrop. We were warmly welcomed by Yuri, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. When she found out we were celebrating a graduation, she surprised us with complimentary drinks--three canned sodas and a bottle of soju. Such a thoughtful gesture! Ordering was a breeze with the tablet on our table. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I asked about the karaoke room, and since it was a quiet day, Yuri generously offered it to us free of charge for an hour (normally it's $100/hour on busy days, not consumable). The room was huge, the sound system was great, and they had a solid selection of up-to-date songs. It was the perfect way to cap off our celebration. I'll definitely be coming back--great food, great service, and a fun vibe all around! Tip: I prefer the Boneless Chicken with the Soy Garlic Sauce on the side so the chicken stays crispy longer. Also the Beef Bulgogi is perfectly seasoned and not too sweet, just the way I like it.
