About This Location

Pricing

Customers report spending $135 for a 30-minute session, which includes packages like the "Hoodlum" with large items that frequently were unavailable, prompting substitutions. Customers felt pricing was high, with many dissatisfied due to perceived value versus cost, citing inadequate provision of promised items.

Staff

Staff interactions varied, with some reviews praising their professionalism and helpfulness, while others pointed out lack of responsiveness and poor communication from the owner and staff. Multiple incidents noted unattended booking calls, cancellations without notice, and delays in promised callbacks, impacting customer satisfaction.

Experience

The customer experience at GoHam Rage Rooms appears inconsistent, with some finding it therapeutic and fun, describing it as akin to a stress-relief session. However, numerous reports of cancellations over lack of items and unexpected booking issues have marred the experience. Safety measures such as jumpsuits, gloves, and goggles are included, but the small room size and close quarters may hinder the experience.

This place was a RIP-OFF. I wasn’t sure where this place was. When we pulled up to The New Black Wall Street, I was immediately skeptical of the experience we were about to have. I paid for the Hoodlum package which was supposed to include 3 large items, TV’s, monitors, etc. When we arrived, the attendant proceeded to set up the room for us. The largest item in the room was a slow-drip coffee maker. When I asked, “where are the 3 large items we paid for?” The response was, “we’re out of those right now so, we’ll give you extra medium sized items.” Nowhere on their website is this mentioned. That is a huge detail to leave out. We were given more glass dinner plates than anything. The only reason we didn’t walk away is because we were looking forward to doing something different and thought we’d try to make the best of it. I asked the attendant to have the owner/manager call me asap. That call never came. Save your money and your time and avoid this business. The picture below shows what we were given for our 30 minute session. $135!! It only took us about 12 minutes to dispose of the small arrangement of breakables.

KEEP YOUR MONEY. Spend it elsewhere. There was no rage room to visit. They're not open on Saturdays but they somehow allowed us to book a time for a Saturday. Honest mistake as this was supposed to be a birthday surprise, but if they're not open on the weekends, why would we be allowed to schedule a time on a Saturday? When we called to ask for a refund, the number listed goes to what sounds like a private voicemail and we never received a call back.

My nephew was set to have a birthday party here this past weekend. When we arrived, we found out the party had to be cancelled 20 minutes prior to the start time due to a lack of items to be smashed. The staff member said she had been trying to contact the owner for hours and the owner was not answering because it was her son's birthday. So, we are happy to know her son had a great birthday weekend while she ruined my nephew's birthday. Spoke with my sister prior to writing this review and found out that the owner has yet to contact her and refund her money for a party that did not take place. Very unprofessional!!!! Would give this place a negative star review if it were possible. Do not waste your time planning a party or setting up a time to smash anything here because the only thing they seem to be good at is smashing kids hopes of having a good time. We recommend going to Rektinc... They are professional. They are properly stocked. They have proper management and they have great communication.
